Included in this endeavor was a bureau originally designed by Perriand and updated for the occasion by Jeanneret to reflect their joint style. Bureau Central du Bâtiment, executed in 1953, is a related design. With three sliding doors and two vertical splayed legs, Bureau Central du Bâtiment is a piece that draws an interior space together through organic, bold form and natural wood material.
